Helena Bakker

I’m an aspiring music industry professional, currently in New Zealand but hoping that this journey will take me worldwide. Originally from Italy, my passion for international music is high as ever, as I keep up to date with new music both locally and worldwide. At age 19 I became a manager for a local artist- Sylva, and have been working with them on their music, aesthetic and audience. I now manage two local bands, and have big plans for both of them. As a working bartender in Wellington, I hope to turn my skills and knowledge towards music, by helping out or working in local venues, helping out the local live scene and festivals (as I have already done previously) and overall keep the local music scene alive. .
